TURBONYCOIL 600 completes tests for approval on Pratt & Whitney PW1100G-JM engine that will power the Airbus A320neo.
NYCO is announcing its turbine oil TURBONYCOIL 600 has successfully completed tests to receive approval on Pratt & Whitney PW1100G-JM engine that will power the Airbus A320neo.
Having demonstrated its performance on the A320 equipped with CFM56 and V2500, the TURBONYCOIL 600 is ready to embark on the last generation of "narrow body".
The test results indicate lubrication system performance, oil sample results, and lube system diagnostics were as expected. Thanks to these satisfactory results, TURBONYCOIL 600 has been submitted to the regulatory authorities for approval for use with the PW1100G-JM engine. In parallel, TURBONYCOIL 600 started tests on the CFM LEAP- 1A.
“We are proud to confirm with these good results the presence of our turbine oil on current and future single-aisle aircraft and provide our customers operating a mixed fleet with a single turbine oil in the future”, said Guillaume Forestier, Director of NYCO Aeronautics division.

NYCO qualifies its multi-purpose grease NYCO GREASE GN 148 against Boeing’s BMS 3-33B.
NYCO has qualified NYCO GREASE GN 148, multi-purpose synthetic grease for aircraft and instruments at low temperature against Boeing’s BMS 3-33B specification. Thanks notably to the previous success against MIL-PRF, SAE, AIMS qualifications; NYCO GREASE GN 148 can now be used on all commercial airframes (Boeing, Airbus, ATR…) in 90% of grease application points: actuators, doors, flaps, slaps, ball, roller or needle bearings, gears, Tail Horizontal Stabilizer (THS) among others.
NYCO GREASE GN 148 is a synthetic NLGI 2 Grade greases fortified with anti-corrosion, antioxidant, anti-wear and extreme pressure additives. Using NYCO GREASE GN 148 as one single airframe grease on a fleet simplifies inventory and maintenance tasks with providing high performance lubrication.
“We are proud that NYCO is now offering a top quality grease meeting 90% needs of routine and maintenance airplane lubrication, on all aircraft; satisfying engineers’, technicians’ and supply chain’s requirements”, said Guillaume Forestier, Director of NYCO Aeronautics division.

NYCO adds 9 Nycobase fluids as components that can be used in European Ecolabel compliant lubricating formulations on the European Lubricant Substance Classification (LuSC) list.
The 9 Nycobase fluids are: Nycobase 8103, Nycobase 8311, Nycobase 8318S, Nycobase STM, Nycobase 8345, Nycobase 8306, Nycobase 8812, Nycobase 8361, Nycobase 8397.
Treat rates for all listed Nycobase products are not limited, neither by their biodegradation nor by their aquatic toxicity features. In addition, they all show high contents of renewable carbon, making them the best option to facilitate the formulation of a large range of European Ecolabel compliant, high performance lubricants like hydraulic oils, gear oils, greases or 2 stroke oils.
Opening of a representative office in Latin America: NYCO develops its international presence
NYCO, European manufacturer of high performance specialty lubricants and synthetic esters, will open a new representative office in Latin America on the occasion of FIDAE International Airshow.
