NYCO adds 9 Nycobase fluids as components that can be used in European Ecolabel compliant lubricating formulations on the European Lubricant Substance Classification (LuSC) list.

The 9 Nycobase fluids are: Nycobase 8103, Nycobase 8311, Nycobase 8318S, Nycobase STM, Nycobase 8345, Nycobase 8306, Nycobase 8812, Nycobase 8361, Nycobase 8397.

Treat rates for all listed Nycobase products are not limited, neither by their biodegradation nor by their aquatic toxicity features. In addition, they all show high contents of renewable carbon, making them the best option to facilitate the formulation of a large range of European Ecolabel compliant, high performance lubricants like hydraulic oils, gear oils, greases or 2 stroke oils.

Opening of a representative office in Latin America: NYCO develops its international presence

NYCO adds a new synthetic ester base fluid, Nycobase 20307 FG,to the list of its Food Grade products

NYCO has recently gained NSF HX-1 registration for Nycobase 20307 FG, a low viscosity synthetic ester.

This product will add to the current list of ester base fluids that are approved for use in H1 lubricants with incidental food contact.

Products from Nycobase FG series are also Halal and Kosher certified, show high biodegradability and renewability levels, and possess superior thermal stability as well as good low temperature properties.

Nycobase Food Grade series of esters are available in a wide range of viscosities.

NYCO announces the new name of its production facility in Tournai, Belgium: S.T.P.C. becomes NYCO-STPC.

FL Technics Jets and NYCO Aeronautics have signed a commitment letter for selling turbine oil TURBONYCOIL 600 in the civil aviation sector

FL Technics Jets, a global provider of tailor-made maintenance, repair and overhaul services for aviation, and NYCO Aeronautics, part of NYCO, have signed a commitment letter on the occasion of the MRO Europe in London on September 25th 2013.

The terms of the commitment authorize FL Technics Jets to promote and resell turbine oil TURBONYCOIL 600 in the civil aviation sector, on defined areas.

It will enable FL Technics Jets to provide its customers with certified and qualified oil and other lubricants, recognized for their high technical and cost effective qualities. It will support the development of NYCO Aeronautics products presence on the Central and Eastern Europe area.

TURBONYCOIL 600 (MIL-PRF-23699 STD, SAE-AS 5780 SPC) has been validated by engine manufacturers with among them CFMI, IAE, GE, P&WC, Rolls-Royce, Snecma, Turbomeca.

NYCO joins Aerochemicals, the alliance of companies manufacturing chemical products for the aviation market

NYCO, the sole European producer of aviation lubricants and high performance synthetic ester base stocks, has joined Aerochemicals, the alliance of companies manufacturing chemical products for the aviation market, since July 2013.

The members of Aerochemicals alliance are small or medium-size businesses, with various geographical origins, which cooperate to accelerate the international developments and satisfy the requirements of aircraft manufacturers worldwide.

NYCO announces that NYCOGREASE GN 25013 received MIL-G-25013 / G-372 approval


NYCO, the sole European producer of aviation lubricants and high performance synthetic ester base stocks, announces that NYCO GREASE GN25013 received MIL-G-25013 / G-372 approval.

This silicone aircraft grease is dedicated to the lubrication ball & roller bearings where operation of low torque equipment will require lubrication for extended periods at temperatures as low as -73°C and as high as 232°C (aircraft actuators, gear boxes...).

NYCO GREASE GN25013 is compatible with all generally used elastomers and especially Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPDM).

This grease is used by aircrafts manufacturers (Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Eurocopter, etc.) as well as other OEMs (Goodrich, etc.).

Turbonycoil 640 has been qualified against SAE AS5780 grade HPC (High Performance Capability). This turbine oil, with enhanced performances and thermal stability, is already validated and successfully used on Allison 501K-B7S aeroderivative turbines, considered as one of the most demanding engine for oils.
